Textio makes the Best Companies to Work For list!

We love awards at Textio! But there are some awards that mean a little more, or that you’re extra proud of—a best workplace award is definitely in that category.

At Textio we’re always thinking about how companies can create a more inclusive, welcoming culture for their teams and potential future teammates. This work is central to all that we do. So it’s no surprise that making Textio a welcoming, inclusive place is also near and dear to us.

That’s why we’re so proud to be named by Seattle Business Magazine to the list of Best Companies to Work for in Washington in 2021. We’ve won this award before, but after the past two years, being on this list is extra meaningful and a testament to our work to adapt our workplace.

Here are just a handful of changes we’ve made to invest in our people and culture:

• Introduced shared days off (in addition to holidays) so the whole company can truly unplug without fear of falling behind
• Expanded the supported states people can work from (now 8!)
• Made third-party professional coaching available to our entire team through Bravely
• Published our pay bands across the company internally for pay transparency

And, while our mailing address may technically be in Washington, we’re a fully distributed team that gives all our employees the same great benefits and experience regardless of where they’re located.

This award was not determined by random voters or a panel of judges; it’s mainly decided by the survey results of our own employees and the experiences they’ve shared.
