Our story

Textio was founded on one conviction: better job posts attract better candidates.

Over the years, we kept hearing the candidate pools were better, yet great hires didn't always follow.

Something was breaking between the candidate pool and the offer letter.

So we looked at the middle—the interview—and found the weakest link in hiring: improvised questions, inconsistent conversations, gut-feel debriefs.

Teams were building better pools, then running them through a process never built to  evaluate them.

That's why we built Lavalier.
