Textio CEO honored with GeekWire CEO of the Year Award

2020 was a strange year. For company leaders who had to navigate economic downturns and societal upheavals—as well as the rapid shift to remote work—2020 brought sudden and specific challenges. That is why it feels particularly meaningful that our CEO and Co-Founder Kieran Snyder has been awarded the 2021 GeekWire Award for CEO of the Year.

Each year, the GeekWire Awards honors outstanding innovators, entrepreneurs, and companies in the Pacific Northwest tech community. The CEO of the Year award recognizes transformative leaders who inspire innovation in their teams and lead with passion and empathy.

Kieran has certainly done that. In the past year, under Kieran’s leadership, we have brought more product features to market than ever before. The team’s ability to quickly launch new features, expand beyond hiring into employer brand documents, and meet the changing needs of our customers by focusing on inclusion is a testament to the culture of innovation and resilience Kieran has created. 

In accepting the award, Kieran shared more about the journey of the past year. “It was a really hard year, and our incredible team has roared back. We have broadened what we build, we have built into the future, and we have new stuff coming to market.”
