Textio’s latest performance feedback report found that high-performers consistently get the lowest-quality feedback, and it’s worst for high-performing women. In an analysis of 23,000 performance reviews from more than 250 U.S. organizations, Textio found strong patterns of bias across the feedback managers give. When some groups of employees systematically get lower quality feedback, they continuously lose out on opportunities to grow, ultimately impacting the growth of the business.
